Assistance for Students

Students are covered by a patchwork of rules. College students face extra SNAP requirements, but many qualify through work-study, a low expected family contribution, or caring for a child. Lifeline is open to any student who meets the income test or receives Medicaid, and a free tablet or iPad can come with a Lifeline plan.
